How I can help your smile
Every day I strive to provide my patients with the highest quality clinical care in the most comfortable and relaxing environment possible. Dentistry can be intimidating, and because of that I make sure each patient receives a one on one consultation and totally customized treatment plan based on his/her needs. My job is to create a plan that reflects the interests, values of each individual leaving you informed and empowered towards your future treatment.
My mission will always be to take care of both the smile and the person behind it.
How I became a dentist
My path to dentistry began as an undergraduate student at Stony Brook University in Long Island, NY. While there I received a degree in Sociology. Upon graduating, I moved on to earn my doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Soon after, I completed two years of General Practice Residency at NYU Winthrop Hospital. My time at NYU exposed me to a series of complex cases that allowed me to enhance my skill set and provide comprehensive oral care. After working tirelessly my first year of residency, I was awarded the position of Chief Resident my second year. It was here I continued to refine my skills in specialty fields such as endodontics, oral surgery, pediatrics and implant dentistry.
Outside of work
I take advantage of any time off to travel the world as much as I can! I enjoy learning about new places and meeting different people from all paths of life. Whenever I get the chance, I love spending as much time as I can with my husband, family and friends. As a native New Yorker, I appreciate exploring new cities, and trying different restaurants. Don’t be surprised if you find me exploring D.C.’s museums, art exhibits, culinary scene, or simply doing yoga at my local studio.
